Our farm is located in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin. A truly special place, the Driftless area refers to a region including southwestern Wisconsin, and smaller parts of Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois, which was “missed” by the glacier back in the last Ice Age. The result is a landscape characterized by river valleys which wind their way through wooded hillsides, with ridge tops crowned by remnants of tall grass prairie and oak savanna. A drive along the quiet twisting roads of the region will bring the traveller past numerous family farms, past fields full of peacefully grazing cows, and acres of corn and soybean fields.
